The "Red Thick-Banded" Mucuna


Only a couple specimens of this seed have been found, and both stranded on Texas (USA) shores.
Mike Ley states: "It is the only one like it that I have found in over 14,000 desirable seabeans that I have collected."

A second "Red Thick-Banded Mucuna" was collected by P. Babcock on March 6, 2014 on Matagorda Beach, Texas, USA.
